For the second year in a row, Fusion Packaging has been named a member of the Dallas 100 for being one of the fastest growing companies in the area. Founded by the SMU Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship, the Dallas 100 honors the ingenuity, commitment and perseverance of the fastest growing privately held entrepreneurial businesses in Dallas.

The honor was announced at the annual Dallas 100 Awards Ceremony at the Morton Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas. The company was chosen because of its significant percentage of growth over a two-year span. Fusion’s performance during this period is what also bestowed them as a” Heavy Hitter” in this year’s calculations having jumped more than 30 spots from their position in the 2010 awards program. Growth is represented as the percentage of sales increase and dollar growth in that period, ahead of other Dallas companies, according to the calculations of the accounting firm BKD CPAs and Advisors.

More than 1,000 guests filled the Meyerson Symphony Center for the evening, which included a keynote address by Phil Romano, CEO of Romano Concepts, who told the audience that “the country’s economic success depends on their success as entrepreneurs.”
